****We are beginning to learn word families. Make sure to review these words with your child in addition to our sight words. After studying a word family, I expect your child to be able to read and spell any word fmaily word. Beginning in March we will have spelling tests to help prepare your child for first grade.
**** Library books are due back to school on Fridays. If your child does not return their book, they will not be permitted to check out another book. I recommend leaving library books in your child's backpack so it will be at school on library days.
****AL MONIES SENT TO SCHOOL MUST BE IN A LABELED ENVELOPE!!! PLEASE LABEL WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME AND WHAT THE MONEY IS FOR (ie: lunch, field trip, planner etc.)
****If there is a change in the way your child goes home, I must have it in writing!
****Please check Panda Binders nightly for notes and papers. Also make sure to check the planner and fill out the reading log in the planner. Panda binders need to be brought to school daily--this is how I will communicate with you and you with me!
****Change for Change: The 5th Grade CAUSE club in collecting spare change to help sponser their club. If you have any spare change to donate, please send it in!
****Prepayments for student lunches are now accepted! Visit www.mylunchmoney.com
and prepay with a mastercard or visa. You will need your child's student ID#. You may also still send in money to your child's teacher.

****Any money you send to school, please send in an envelope with your child's name on it.
****Moss Park's dress code is as follows:
Shirts: Navy blue, yellow/gold, gray, or white solid shirts may be worn
Pants/Shorts/Skirts: Navy blue or khaki
Jeans may be worn on Fridays only with a school spirit shirt.
Please encourage your child to tuck their shirt in.
****Remember to fill out a volunteer You will need to have already filled out the ADDitions application prior to being permitted to attend any field trips or volunteer in the classroom. I recommend filling this out even if you do not think you will be able to volunteer.
****If you need extra blue cards for pick up,
please send in a note and
I will make you a new copy. ALL adults are required to have the blue card to pick up any walkers, bikers, and car riders.
