Your child is expected to read every night. Yes, you can read to your child the first half of the year.  Starting in February/March I will send books home for your child to read to you! Please log the title of the book read in your child's planner. This is how I check to see if the reading homework was completed.

In your child's Panda Binder you will find two calendar's for monthly homework. After you complete your homework each night, color the square on the calendar to show you have completed your homework. At the end of the month return your child's calendar (make sure to put their name on it) and your child will receive a reward for completing all their homework.
